This is the burner box component for Sterling RSS series low-intensity infrared tube heaters, designed for natural gas operation with a 175,000 BTU/hr input. It operates on 120V single-phase power and is configured for single-stage heating at elevations between 0 and 1999 feet. Please note that this is the burner box only; a compatible Sterling tube and reflector kit must be ordered separately to complete the heater assembly.The unit features a push-through (positive pressure) design with a totally enclosed combustion chamber and blower motor, eliminating the need for draft hoods and ensuring quiet operation (less than 50 dB). It includes a durable cast iron burner, reliable direct spark ignition with safety shut-off, diagnostic lights, and compatibility with both line voltage and 24V thermostats.
