This self-powered AC current sensing switch is designed to interlock UV and HEPA units with the blower motor in furnaces or air handlers. It functions similarly to an amp probe, sensing the AC load on a monitored wire passing through its center. When sufficient current is detected, the switch closes, activating the connected device.The switch features an adjustable minimum trip point ranging from 0.05 to 2.0 amps, allowing for precise control based on the application. It has a switching capacity of 2.5 amps at 120VAC or 1.25 amps at 240VAC. Its self-powered design simplifies installation by eliminating the need for an external power source.
