The Fast-Stat Model 9000 Wiring Extender simplifies converting air conditioning systems to single or 2-stage heat pumps by utilizing the existing 2-wire condenser cable. This eliminates the need to pull new wiring, saving time and avoiding potential damage to walls. It effectively transmits Y1, Y2, O/B, and W signals between the indoor unit (furnace/air handler) and the outdoor heat pump.Designed for 24 VAC systems, the Model 9000 is compatible with many thermostats, Equipment Interface Modules (EIMs), and zone controllers. It includes two modules – one for the indoor unit and one for the heat pump – and features an optional built-in fossil fuel kit for added flexibility in system configuration.
