DiversiGum is a gray, permanently soft, non-toxic compound which will adhere to most clean dry surfaces. It is composed of non-drying synthetic polymers and oils as well as saturated mineral fillers and other inert ingredients. DiversiGum is used primarily by the building and specifically by the electrical trade to seal around electrical boxes, flashings, and service mast entries, etc. DiversiGum has countless applications in the refrigeration, heating and cooling, plumbing, and metal fabrication fields, as well as being an excellent all-around sealant for home use.Able to be shaped by hand, DiversiGum can be molded to any form and can be reused if necessary. This versatile sealant can be painted without worry of bleed-through after the paint dries. DiversiGum is asbestos free as well as being non-toxic and non-irritant. It will not adversely affect plastics, corrode metal, or adversely affect human skin, but does offer excellent resistance to water, alcohols, mild acids and bases. DiversiGum comes tightly packaged in re-usable plastic to keep dirt and other contamination out.
