The ATCO #031 is a UL 181, Class 1 Air Duct manufactured with a tri-directional fiberglass scrim reinforced, metallized polyester outer jacket. Its air-tight inner core is formed by a double lamination of tough polyester encapsulating a steel wire helix, designed for low-to-medium operating pressures in HVAC systems. The #031 model features increased insulation for superior thermal performance.The double-layer core is wrapped with a thick blanket of R-8 fiberglass insulation and sheathed in a rugged, tear-resistant metallized polyester jacket. This construction ensures energy efficiency and durability, making it suitable for indoor use as a supply or return air duct in residential and commercial applications, connecting to mixing boxes, diffusers, or other terminal devices.
